Riverside, CA (March 14, 2023) – A pedestrian collision was reported in the Riverside area late Sunday evening that resulted in injuries. Just before midnight on March 12, the California Highway Patrol trooper received a dispatch notification that they were needed at the scene of a crash on Mapes Road.
Authorities arrived at the scene and located a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle in the area of Menifee Road.
Paramedics rendered aid to the victim for a short period of time while at the scene. The pedestrian was then transported to Inland Valley Medical Center for emergency treatment of injuries.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the crash.
