Riverside, CA (March 14, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an automobile accident in the Riverside area that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries.

The accident was reported to CHP at approximately 8:40 a.m. on March 12.

According to reports, a gray Chevrolet Colorado and a gray Honda sedan collided on Magnolia Avenue. Troopers arrived at the scene with the assistance of area firefighters and closed off the roadway at the intersection of Ellis Street.

Emergency crews quickly went to work clearing the scene of the accident. The Honda was significantly damaged and had to be towed from the scene.

Emergency medical services responded to care for victims and to transport them to area hospitals.

At this time, the incident remains under investigation.
