Car Accidents in California
It is unfathomable how much an automobile accident can impact your life. Regrettably, car crashes often leave victims with injuries that prevent them from enjoying life or ever returning back to work. It is devastatingly common for victims to suffer severe spinal cord injuries, trauma to the head, and other significant injuries that impact their health and well-being forever.
What makes these injuries even more devastating is that the majority of accidents that cause them are entirely preventable. In fact, close to 90 percent of collisions that take place on our roadways every year are caused by driver error. Some of the leading factors in these accidents include drivers who are distracted, drivers who are drowsy, and drivers who are drunk.
When drivers engage in actions such as these, they do so without any consideration for other motorists traveling nearby. Innocent people are forced to pay the price every day of these and other acts of recklessness. When victims are harmed in accidents that are completely preventable, it is only fair that they are able to get justice. In California, victims have the ability to take legal action in civil court against those who cause them harm.
