San Rafael, CA (March 14, 2023) – California Highway Patrol troopers were sent to provide care on-site at a car crash that took place on Sunday evening in San Rafael and left one driver injured.
The crash was reported at around 6:45 p.m. on March 12.
Official reports indicate that a Toyota Sequoia and two other vehicles collided on the northbound lanes of Highway 101. The incident prompted California Highway Patrol to shut down multiple lanes along the northbound side near the off-ramp for Francisco Boulevard.
The driver of the Sequoia suffered injuries in the crash. After receiving medical aid at the scene, the victim was transported to Kaiser Permanente San Rafael Medical Center for emergency care.
Troopers are actively investigating the collision.
