Wilshire Law Frim is looking for a Social Content Writer who is fluent in Spanish to join their creative team, becoming as vital part of social campaigns.
Develop, research, and proof all levels of copy to write stories, blog posts, Facebook/Instagram posts, and Tweets on behalf of our clients.
Must be a vibrant writer able to produce pieces across different social media platforms from long-form to blog posts to tweets to responses to others’ posts on and to accompany text with multi-media, while having the ability to mimic brand voice.
The candidate should be able to look for connections between Hispanic events and articles in the broader media landscape for the purposes of developing posts.
The candidate should have technical skills sufficient to be able or to rapidly learn to be able to post pieces in digital domains and in a content management system.
Innovate new and creative ways to use social media platforms to tell stories and have a dialogue with our viewers/readers.
Work closely with several teams to understand the goals, audience and message of the content/campaigns. Also, aid developing the content calendar.
Monitor and moderate conversations in the online community.
Available to work after hours or onsite for live events, when needed.
BA or BS with 1-3 years of relevant social media experience (either in-house or at an agency).
Knowledge and passion for Hispanic entertainment (Novelas, Celebrity news, etc).
Deep understanding and passion for social media platforms and their community members (Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, Tumblr, Vine, Pose, etc.)
Excellent time management, organizational, planning and project manage skills to balance workload across several accounts.
Extraordinary English & Spanish communication and copywriting skills with the ability to mimic brand voice in social media posts. Journalism experience is a plus.
Strong social profile and demonstrates passion for social media platform
Proven journalism skills: strong storytelling; good news judgment
Must be available to work weekends, some holidays and extended daily hours when needed.
