210 freeway motorcycle crash accident

Motorcycle Crash Killed 1 on Highway 210

On the night of June 1, a fatal motorcycle accident occurred on the northbound Glendale (2) Freeway close to the Glendale-La Canada Flintridge border.

The accident happened around 9:45 p.m. just south of the Foothill (210) Freeway, shutting down four lanes, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Officials said the motorcyclist may have been struck by a vehicle driven by a woman after crashing his bike.

As of this report, it has not yet been determined whether the man was killed in the initial crash or the second collision. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.

The deadly crash closed down lanes 2 thru 5 lanes on the Glendale Freeway.

The lanes were closed for several hours while a CHP investigation was being conducted.

Motorcycle accident” is a misnomer because all “accidents” are completely preventable tragedies. The term implies that nobody is at fault or to blame, when the truth is that all crashes can be attributed to driver inattention, speeding, bad road design, or other acts of negligence. In other words, there is always a victim and there is always a liable party that owes that victim compensation.
