1 Killed, 3 Injured in Pauma Valley Motorcycle Crash
Fatal Crash in Pauma Valley
On the afternoon of July 6, one person was killed and three others were seriously injured in a Pauma Valley motorcycle crash, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The fatal accident occurred just before 1 p.m. on State Route 76 at Cole Grade Road.
An 18-year-old Temecula woman was traveling east on Cole Grade Road when, for reasons yet known, she lost control of her vehicle and drove toward a group of motorcyclists.
One 78-year-old rider was struck and killed. Another sustained major injuries in the collision. A third rider was able to avoid the vehicle and wasn’t injured.
The driver of the vehicle suffered a broken arm and a passenger was transported by air to Palomar Hospital in critical condition.
A representative of Wilshire Law Firm says that an investigation is underway.
