1 Killed, 5 Injured in Stockton Accident Involving 2 Big Rigs
Stockon Accident Affected 6 Lives
On the afternoon of August 22, one man was killed and five others were injured in a Stockton accident that involved two big rigs on Highway 4, according to officials.
The truck accident occurred about 3 p.m. on eastbound highway 4 near Filbert Street. A total of four vehicles were involved in the crash, including two big rigs.
One of the big rigs rolled over, spilling grain and diesel fuel on the road, which triggered the chain reaction crash.
The fatal victim, an 83-year-old man from Escalon, was ejected from a Ford F-150 and died at the scene.
“At this time, an investigation is underway,” said a representative of Wilshire Law Firm. “Our thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones.”
