On July 14, one person was killed and several others injured in a car accident on the northbound 14 Freeway in Palmdale, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
At this time, it is only known that two vehicles were involved in the fatal crash and one person was transported to a hospital, where they were later pronounced dead. Between three and four people suffered injuries in the collision. More details about their conditions are pending.
Several lanes on the freeway were closed for about three hours following the incident.
