10-Year-Old Girl Dies After Riding Six Flags Magic Mountain Roller Coaster
On June 10, Jasmine Martinez, 10, of Somis, was discovered unconscious after riding the Revolution roller coaster at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia.
Firefighters were called to her aid around 4 p.m., and she was transported by air to an area hospital.
Sadly, she was pronounced dead the next day.
At the time of this report, it is not yet known whether her death was the direct result of an amusement park accident or an unrelated medical incident. An autopsy is pending.
Six Flags released a statement saying, “We are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Jasmine Martinez. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family.”
The Revolution roller coaster opened in 1976.
