At Least 2 Injured in Long Beach Big Rig Accident
On the morning of August 24, at least two men were injured in a violent crash involving three big rigs on the 710 Freeway in Long Beach, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The big rig accident occurred about 12:30 a.m. near Willow Street. Two men were taken to a local trauma center, one in critical condition.
Investigators believe that speed was a factor in the crash. The first truck involved was stopped and the other trucks couldn’t slow down in time to avoid a collision.
“At this time, the investigation is still ongoing,” said a representative of Wilshire Law Firm. “Our thoughts are with the victims.”
