At Least 6 Injured in Train-SUV Crash in Pasadena
UPDATED: On June 8, a Metro train accident occurred in Pasadena, according to the Pasadena Fire Department.
The collision was between a Mercedes SUV and a Metro Gold Line train. It happened at Raymond Avenue and Glenarm St. At least five passengers of the train were transported to an area hospital with minor injuries. The driver of the SUV, a male in his 70’s, sustained serious injuries.
Following the accident, Gold Line train service was suspended between the South Pasadena and Fillmore stations. Buses were sent in to transport rail passengers around the affected area.
The investigation of the collision is still ongoing.
