UPDATE: While the identities of the victims have not been officially released by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner-Coroner, loved ones have identified them as Brendan Crockett, 21, and his brother Jeff Crockett, 24. Brendan was known as a pool parlor prodigy and was a contender for this year’s U.S. national billiards team.
On the early morning of June 28, a fatal collision involving a semi truck in Agoura Hills resulted in the deaths of two men, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
The big rig crash was reported around 12:15 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 near Lewis Road. By the time respondents arrived at the scene, the vehicle carrying the two victims, ages 21 and 24, was on fire.
Both were declared dead at the scene.
An investigation is underway.
