infant injured in highway 14 car crashOn the morning of June 9, three people, including an infant, were injured in a rollover accident on Highway 14 near Santa Clarita, according to officials.

At around 9:20 a.m., a vehicle was heading north on Highway 14 when it went 20 feet down an embankment at Escondido Canyon Road near Agua Dulce.

“We responded to reports of a vehicle over the side,” Inspector Richard Licon of the Los Angeles County Fire Department said.

An infant was ejected from its car seat but not from the car itself.

Multiple crews responded to the accident, including a helicopter and an urban search-and-rescue team.

“All patients were found outside of the vehicle when firefighters arrived,” Licon said.

Two adults injured in the crash were transported to a local area trauma center, while the infant was taken to a pediatric trauma center.

The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
