Early June 26, a woman was struck by the driver of an SUV in Long Beach, who then backed up and ran over her again before fleeing the scene, according to police.
The fatal hit-and-run crash happened around 12:45 a.m. near the intersection of Anaheim Street and Ohio Avenue.
Investigators said that the victim was walking across the street in an unmarked crosswalk when a beige Ford Expedition heading west on Anaheim Street ran her over.
