Person Killed in Bakersfield Drunk Driving Accident
On the morning of August 2, one person was killed in a Bakersfield drunk driving accident that occurred at 7th Standard Road and Golden State Highway, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).
Police believe that the driver responsible for the fatal car crash was driving under the influence when they ran a red light and collided with the victim, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
A passenger in the suspect’s vehicle was also injured in the collision.
“Another life needlessly lost because of a drunk driver – this needs to stop,” said a representative of Wilshire Law Firm. “We hope that the victim’s loved ones find justice.”
