Roger Clinton, Hillary Clinton's Brother-In-Law, Busted for DUI in Redondo Beach
On the night of June 5, Hillary Clinton’s brother by marriage, Roger Clinton, was busted for driving under the influence in Redondo Beach, according to police.
Roger Clinton was arrested and booked around 8 p.m. on June 5. A DUI is classified as a misdemeanor.
A concerned member of the public reported a possible inebriated driver heading southbound on Pacific Coast Highway in an unstable fashion. Authorities said the caller tailed the driver and updated police on his movements.
Officers eventually pulled the vehicle over close to the intersection of Torrance Boulevard and S. Prospect Avenue.
The 59-year-old was taken to the Redondo Beach Jail after failing field sobriety tests. Authorities said he refused chemical screenings.
On the morning of June 6, he posted bail, which was set at $15,000, and was released. He has a court date on September 2.
Roger Clinton is the stepbrother of former President Bill Clinton, who notoriously used his executive powers to pardon him for a 1985 cocaine possession conviction.
