wildcat canyon road crash causes power outage
At about 6 a.m. on June 14, a car crash occurred on Wildcat Canyon Road, injuring two drivers and downing power lines, according to the California Highway Patrol (CHP).

Witnesses told officials that a gray Nissan Altima sedan overturned onto its roof and another vehicle went over the side of the road into a gully. Both drivers were transported to nearby hospitals with minor injuries.

One of the vehicles crashed into a power pole, knocking out power to about 20 utility customers in the area. Also, live wires started a brush fire, but fortunately fire crews were able to snuff out the fire before it spread very far.

The investigation of the crash is still ongoing.
