Desiree Ruiz Alfaro, Esq., is an Associate Attorney who specializes in wage and hour class actions and Private Attorneys General Act (PAGA) actions.

Desiree takes pride in guiding individuals through the legal process with clarity and compassion. Inspired by her family’s values, Desiree pursued a legal career with a deep commitment to advocating for fairness, justice and the rights of individuals. She is dedicated not only to her clients but also to giving back to the community. Her experience includes working with the Southwestern Street Law Clinic, where she provided legal education to at-risk youth in Los Angeles. Desiree was also a Biederman Scholar, member of the Southwestern Negotiation Honors Program, and supervising editor of Law Commentator.

Desiree’s professional affiliations include the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) and Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA). Outside of her legal practice, Desiree enjoys spending time with her family and pug/chihuahua mix, Penny, running, weightlifting, and finding new coffee shops.
