Mark S. Oknyansky

Senior Attorney

Mark S. Oknyansky is a skilled personal injury attorney with a decade of experience, specializing in all areas of personal injury law, including car accidents, rideshare litigation, delivery van and truck accidents, slip and falls, and more. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a minor in Finance from California State University, Northridge, and a J.D. from Loyola Law School.

Mark’s professional approach is defined by his deep commitment to each client, meticulously studying each case to uncover innovative legal strategies that yield meaningful results. A notable example of his dedication involved securing a $1 million policy limit settlement for a client injured in a skylight fall—a case that would typically fall under workers’ compensation. Mark discovered the building owner’s partial negligence in not installing safety devices on all skylights, successfully holding them liable. This settlement, along with his negotiation to reduce the workers’ compensation insurer’s reimbursement, maximized the client’s recovery.

As a member of the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Mark upholds a professional philosophy of cooperation with opposing counsel while fully preparing for trial, believing that the best settlements are achieved by demonstrating readiness to win in court.

Mark’s motivation to attend law school stemmed from a desire to better support clients through complex legal challenges. Outside of work, Mark is a father of two, a martial arts enthusiast, and an active leader within his local synagogue, where he provides security services during major holidays. His personal motto reflects his commitment: “Every client, every case, is important. I take my work personally and provide the best quality lawyering I can in each and every case.”
