N. Rebecca A. Turner, Esq., is a Senior Attorney with over 25 years of legal experience, specializing in personal injury, trucking and transportation, and catastrophic injury law. She has also handled matters involving medical malpractice, professional liability, wrongful death, business litigation and consultation, and wage and hour disputes.
Rebecca previously ran her own successful law firm, representing international and domestic companies and was a former defense attorney, but chose to shift her focus to representing real people in need. She is licensed to practice law in California, as well as in the Northern and Central District Federal Courts of California, and the state of Louisiana. While in college, she interned on Capitol Hill, gaining early experience in public service. Later in her legal career, she successfully litigated a wage and hour case of first impression, defeating multiple Motions for Summary Judgment filed by the U.S. Government.
Rebecca’s approach to law is grounded in her Midwestern upbringing, where community values and a commitment to service were instilled from a young age. She became a lawyer to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives, and that mission continues to drive her today. While she has achieved high-value, notable results throughout her career, her proudest moment was helping a neighbor – living on a fixed income – get a creditor lawsuit dismissed. For her neighbor, that legal win felt like magic. For Rebecca, it was a reminder of why she became an attorney.
Outside the courtroom, Rebecca shows her dogs at prestigious competitions, including the Westminster Kennel Club show, and actively supports her community through volunteer work for Lawyers at the Library and fundraising for organizations like the Suscol Intertribal Council.
