Rene Ucros, Esq., is an experienced litigation attorney who specializes in catastrophic injury, wrongful death, and insurance bad faith cases. Specifically, Rene handles automobile collisions, trucking collisions, pedestrian versus auto collisions, and premise liability cases. Throughout his career, Mr. Ucros has achieved notable legal victories, including a key role in an auto v. auto case that resulted in a $120 million verdict after striking the Defendants’ Answer. He has also secured significant settlements, such as $17.5 million, $10 million (post-trial), $8.1 million, and $5.25 million in various auto-related cases, along with substantial settlements in premise liability and first-party auto claims. 

Rene earned his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University before attending Pepperdine Caruso School of Law, where he joined a dual-degree program earning him a Master’s in Dispute Resolution along with a Juris Doctorate.  His legal philosophy is encapsulated in the words of Pele: 

“Success is no accident. It is hard work, perseverance, learning, studying, sacrifice, and most of all, love of what you are doing.” 

Mr. Ucros has spoken at legal conferences, including Trial Lawyers University, sharing his experiences in cross-examination and trial. He is an active member of several professional organizations, including the Orange County Trial Lawyers Association (OCTLA), Orange County Trial Lawyers Charity (OCTLC), Los Angeles Trial Lawyers Charity (LATLC), Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA), Consumer Attorneys of California (CAOC), and Orange County Bar Association (OCBA). 

Outside of his legal practice, Mr. Ucros enjoys spending time with his family and his French bulldog, Pepe, traveling, golfing, and surfing.
