2 Killed in Lancaster Motorcycle Accident
On the night of July 30, two people were killed in a Lancaster motorcycle accident, according to officials.
The fatal crash occurred about 8:30 p.m. at the intersection of 40th Street West and Newgrove Street.
Police said that a 2003 Toyota Prius was traveling south on 40th Street East when it made a left turn into the path of a motorcyclist who was going north on 40th Street West.
A passenger in the front right seat and the motorcyclist were killed in the ensuing collision.
“At this time, an investigation is underway,” said a representative of Wilshire Law Firm. “Our thoughts are with the victims’ loved ones.”
