Brandon Peav is an Associate Attorney at Wilshire Law Firm who believes growth and success come from a balance of preparation, perseverance, and adaptability. He aims to approach every challenge with integrity, empathy, and a solution-focused mindset, striving not only to achieve results, but to empower those he works with.
Brandon previously worked with stakeholders in the UC Martial Arts program at UC Berkeley to draft a set of bylaws that organized funding for local athletes and educated the community on the history and culture surrounding East Asian martial arts.
In addition to martial arts, Brandon is passionate about mental health advocacy, which is evidenced in his former role as a board member for the nonprofit organization “Humans Love Love Foundation,” which provided support to underrepresented communities seeking psychological care.
Brandon credits his inspiration for becoming an attorney to his father, a former law firm employee, and brother, who graduated from law school – as well as a documentary on Cambodian Americans who, along with other Southeast Asian refugees, were disproportionally affected by the Immigrant Responsibility Act of 1996 and removed from the country.
Brandon hopes that by becoming an attorney and advocate for the oppressed, he can serve as a role model for younger Cambodians.
