Katya Salganick, Esq., is an Intake Attorney at Wilshire Law Firm and a tenacious advocate with over a decade of legal experience. With a strong passion for trial work, Ms. Salganick’s dedication to excellence began in law school, where she was awarded the prestigious Judge Lee D. Baxter Fellowship in Litigation. In this role, she coached a team of law students to a fourth-place finish in the ABA National Labor & Employment Competition, competing against top-tier law schools.
Ms. Salganick’s diverse legal background stems from her upbringing as the daughter of Russian immigrant and Puerto Rican parents, who established themselves in Southern California over 40 years ago. Fluent in Spanish, she has worked with a national criminal defense firm, solo practitioners, and a federal bankruptcy judge, gaining extensive experience in client interaction and advocacy across a wide range of emotionally charged legal fields, including family law, probate, and criminal law. Her exposure to cases involving everything from multi-million-dollar civil exposure to life sentences in prison has taught her the power of empathy in building trust with clients.
In addition to her work in private practice, Ms. Salganick has held roles at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of California, the San Francisco Public Defender’s Office, and the San Diego City Attorney’s Office. These experiences provided her with invaluable insight into the litigation process, law enforcement, and the legal system at both the state and federal levels.
Ms. Salganick brings her competitive spirit, empathy, and extensive legal expertise to Wilshire Law Firm, where she continues to fight for justice on behalf of her clients.
