LOS ANGELES, CA. Dec. 20, 2017 —Wilshire Law Firm has launched its nationwide, bi-annual scholarship program. Students can now send application materials, until June 30, 2018. This program awards one law student for their outstanding contribution to the community and top academic achievements.
Earlier this year, the Wilshire Law Firm selection committee evaluated hundreds of applications, from all over the country, and bestowed the 2017 accolade to UCLA’s Rebecca Kutlow. Miss Kutlow, a first-generation law student, received her award during a meeting with Bobby Saadian, the firm’s Founding President and Managing Attorney. During her visit, Saadian encouraged Miss Kutlow to continue being an excellent example to our community and to aspiring legal professionals.
Saadian created the Wilshire Law Firm Scholarship Program — an idea that everyone at the firm welcomed with open arms. As a first-generation student, he understands the challenges, which many students face, especially during their first years in law school. The scholarship program implementation is Saadian’s way to give back to our community, and to support higher education.
Wilshire Law Firm has launched a first-generation scholarship program last year in aims of furthering the education of an wide-eyed students looking to attend Loyola Law School in the fall. Even further raising funds for this scholarship program through donations made by running the Los Angeles Marathon.
Wilshire Law Firm was founded by Bobby Saadian, Esq., in 2007. The firm represents victims of catastrophic accidents, sexual assault, environmental contamination, dangerous pharmaceuticals and defective products, against insurance companies and big business. The firm also fights for employee rights and equality in the workplace.
