Covina, CA – Two Injured in Car vs Train Crash on N Barranca Ave near E Front St

Covina, CA (February 11, 2023) – A crash between a car and a train took place in Los Angeles County that left two people injured on Friday morning, February 10.

At approximately 10:25 a.m., the Los Angeles County Fire Department and the police responded to the scene of an auto accident that had taken place on North Barranca Avenue.

Preliminary investigations show that a car and a Metrolink train collided on North Barranca Avenue at the intersection of East Front Street. Train Number 308 was traveling from the downtown Los Angeles Union Station. The accident occurred between the Covina Station and the Pomona North Station.

Firefighters and the police responded and immediately secured the area.

One person on the train and one person from the car suffered injuries. The two victims were provided medical treatment at the scene and transported by paramedics to a nearby hospital.

The police department is currently investigating the accident.
