Los Angeles, CA (February 12, 2023) – A major accident was reported at the Los Angeles International Airport on Friday evening that left multiple people injured.
Calls for assistance came in on February 10 regarding an automobile accident at the airport.
Preliminary investigations provided by the Los Angeles Police Department show that an Airbus A321 collided with a passenger shuttle bus at the airport during the evening hours as the plane was being towed away from the gate to a parking lot.
Several people suffered injuries as a result of the accident. Paramedics with the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to the scene to provide treatment to five victims. Four of the injured victims were transported to area hospitals. The victims were only identified as the bus driver, two passengers, and the other driver involved. The worker on the plane was treated for injuries.
