Car Accidents in California
Car accidents in California leave hundreds of thousands of people injured every year. There are countless instances where innocent people are hospitalized with significant injuries that require both immediate and long-term care. Common injuries that are reported in car crashes across our state include:
- Severe burn injuries: burn injuries are incredibly common in car accidents. When people become trapped inside of burning vehicles, the chances of them suffering these and other significant injuries are dramatically increased. Unfortunately, these painful injuries often require extensive medical treatment and result in permanent disfigurements.
- Internal organ injuries: internal organ injuries can be incredibly life-threatening. This is especially true if victims are not rendered aid immediately. Internal organ injuries often impact the victim’s lungs, spleens, and kidneys. Regrettably, these injuries often require immediate and long-term care.
- Neck and soft tissue injuries: neck and soft tissue injuries can be incredibly painful. People who suffer these injuries, such as whiplash, may experience problems lifting objects, turning their heads in specific ways, or engaging in various other activities.
Regrettably, victims often suffer these and other serious injuries in motor vehicle accidents that are entirely preventable. When innocent people are harmed as a result of motor vehicle collisions, they are able to take legal action against the responsible party.
