Los Angeles, CA (March 10, 2023) – At 6:04 p.m. on March 9, police officers out of Los Angeles assisted area firefighters at the scene of a crash that occurred in the Westlake neighborhood.

According to officials, a collision between vehicles took place on South Alvarado Street at the intersection of West 3rd Street.

The incident prompted officials to close off the intersection as they worked to clear the scene.

Paramedics were dispatched to care for the injured victims while on-site. At least one person was transported to a local hospital for further medical care.

The circumstances surrounding the accident are currently being investigated.
