Los Angeles, CA (March 12, 2023) – A motor vehicle accident was reported on the west side of Los Angeles on Friday evening that sent at least one person to a local hospital for the treatment of injuries.
On March 10, authorities were notified that a vehicle collision took place on Interstate 405.
At approximately 4:20 p.m., a white Honda and a gray Tesla collided on the northbound side of the freeway. The incident prompted officials to close off a portion of the road near the Howard Hughes Parkway.
The accident blocked multiple lanes of the road, causing delays throughout the area. Tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles.
Emergency medical services were notified that their assistance was needed on-site. Injured victims were provided medical treatment and transported to area hospitals.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
