Car Accidents in California
In California, more than half of a million accidents take place on our roadways annually. These accidents leave hundreds of thousands of people with injuries that impact their lives forever. In California, the vast majority of accidents that flutter roadways are caused by reckless driving behaviors. These actions include speeding, driving while distracted, or even driving under the influence. Any type of reckless action can have serious consequences for everyone else nearby. The unfortunate truth is that people continue to suffer life-altering injuries daily and accidents that are entirely preventable.
Even though no accidents are the same, we see many similarities between the injuries that victims of these accidents are left with. It is also common for victims to suffer from spinal cord injuries after motor vehicle accidents. Additionally, we see many people left with traumatic brain injuries, broken bones, internal organ injuries, and other serious injuries that require medical care.
Unfortunately, victims of car accidents are often approached by insurance companies that offer them minimal settlements for their injuries and damages. Victims who are quick to accept these offers unknowingly sign away their rights to file for compensation later on.
