Santa Ana, CA (March 15, 2023) – Just prior to 5:20 p.m. on March 13, the California Highway Patrol responded to the scene of an automobile accident that took place in the Santa Ana area that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries.
According to officials, a gray Nissan Pathfinder, a silver Ford pickup truck, and a great Honda Accord collided on the northbound side of the Interstate 5 Freeway. The California Highway Patrol troopers responded to the scene and closed off the roadway just south of Tustin Ranch Road.
Multiple tow trucks were requested to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene of the crash.
The crash resulted in some disruptions in the area as emergency crews worked to clear the scene.
Medics rendered aid to the victims at the scene of the crash before transporting them to local hospitals.
The circumstances surrounding the crash are currently being investigated.
