Esse Health, a prominent healthcare provider headquartered in St. Louis, Missouri, has disclosed a data breach that exposed the personal information of over 263,000 individuals.

What Happened

On April 21, 2025, suspicious activity was identified within the Esse Health network. Upon learning of this activity, the company initiated an investigation with the assistance of external cybersecurity and forensic specialists.
