Los Angeles, CA (February 22, 2023) – Emergency crews across Los Angeles County responded to provide assistance at the scene of an automobile accident in which at least one victim suffered injuries.
Calls for help came in surrounding an automobile accident on Interstate 5 Freeway at approximately 4:00 p.m. on February 21.
Preliminary reports indicate that a beige older model Mercedes and a white Toyota sienna collided along the northbound side of the freeway in the area near California State Highway 134 at the westbound connector.
The incident prompted officials to close several lanes of travel as they worked to remove the damaged vehicles from the scene.
Emergency medical services rushed to provide care to the victims who suffered injuries and transport them to local hospitals.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
