Car Accidents in California
Every day, innocent people throughout California are left injured as a result of motor vehicle accidents. In many cases, people are hurt as a result of car crashes due to motorists who engage in negligent actions while behind the wheel.
There are several types of accidents that are reported statewide annually. One of the most common types of collisions is head-on collisions. These accidents occur when two vehicles crash into each other front to front. These accidents can result in severe damage to vehicles, almost always resulting in them being totaled. Victims involved in head-on crashes often suffer severe injuries.
Another type of accident commonly reported in California is the rear-end accident. These accidents occur when the front of one vehicle plows into the rear of the second vehicle. Tailgating and speeding are some of the leading causes of rear-end accidents. Distractions can cause these accidents to take place as well.
Finally, T-bone collisions are another type of accident commonly reported. These accidents often result from drivers running red lights or passing stop signs at intersections. These accidents occur when a vehicle crashes into the side of another vehicle. In many cases, T-bone collisions result in rollovers.
