Oceanside, CA (February 26, 2023) – An automobile accident took place in the Oceanside area that ended with injuries on Saturday afternoon, February 25.
At approximately 3:15 p.m., troopers with the California Highway Patrol were notified that a collision took place on Interstate 5.
According to reports, a white SUV and a gold sedan collided on the northbound side of the interstate just north of La Costa Avenue. While emergency services responded to provide assistance to the injured victims at the scene, it slowed traffic in the area.
Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the wrecked cars blocking the roads so that regular traffic could resume.
At least one person was transported to a local hospital for medical care.
The circumstances surrounding the accident are being investigated.
