Corona, CA (February 27, 2023) – Three people were left injured as a result of a car crash that took place on Saturday morning and Corona. Just before 2:15 a.m. on February 25, troopers with the California Highway Patrol were called to provide assistance on-site in an automobile accident that took place on Promenade Avenue.
Crash reports provided by CHP show that a 17-year-old boy from Corona was driving a gray 2003 Acura TL in the area of promenade Avenue and Cresta Road during the early morning hours. For unknown reasons, the vehicle became involved in a collision with the 2013 Volkswagen Jetta.
The teenager suffered critical injuries as a result of the automobile accident. A 50-year-old man in one of the vehicles was also severely injured.
Both victims were transported to area hospitals for emergency care.
The California Highway Patrol is currently investigating the accident.
