Los Angeles, CA (February 28, 2023) – On February 27, the Los Angeles Police Department received a notification surrounding a crash that took place in Southeast Los Angeles and ended in injuries.
The accident was reported to LAPD at around 3:45 a.m.
According to officials, vehicles collided on East Imperial Highway and the area of South San Pedro Street. The crash prompted officials to close off a portion of the roadway near the intersection.
The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded to the scene to provide assistance to the police.
Emergency medical services also responded to care for injured victims. At least one person suffered injuries that required further medical attention and was transported to a local hospital.
The car crash remains under investigation at this time.
