Los Angeles, CA (March 2, 2023) – On February 28, the California Highway Patrol was called to the scene of a crash that took place in East Los Angeles that sent at least one person to a local hospital with injuries.
The accident was reported to troopers at approximately 12:45 p.m.
Investigations conducted by CHP revealed that a red Chevrolet Malibu and a gray Toyota Tacoma collided on East Olympic Boulevard at the intersection of Hendricks Avenue.
The vehicles suffered damage due to the accident. Two tow trucks were called to the scene to provide assistance with the removal of the vehicles.
An ambulance was requested at the scene to treat the injured victims and transferred them to area hospitals.
Emergency crews remained at the scene for over half an hour as they worked to clear the road and investigate.
Investigations surrounding the accident are currently underway.
