San Francisco, CA (March 5, 2023) – A multi-vehicle accident took place in the outer Mission District of San Francisco that resulted in injuries. The accident was reported to the police at approximately 8:45 a.m. on March 3.
According to officials, a total of five vehicles, including a bus, collided on San Jose Avenue at the intersection of Alemany Boulevard. At least one of the vehicles involved in the crash when off the roadway and struck a pole.
The incident caused severe disruptions in the area as emergency crews blocked off multiple lanes of the road at the intersection.
Emergency medical services responded to the scene to render aid to the victims who suffered injuries. An unknown number of victims were transported to local hospitals for further care.
The San Francisco Police Department is currently investigating the accident.
