Car Accidents in California
Far too often, car crashes are reported in the state of California. Hundreds of people are injured daily as a result of automobile accidents right here in the Golden State. In many cases, car accidents take place under circumstances that are entirely preventable. Common causes of accidents in our state include:
- Speeding drivers
- Drivers who fail to yield
- Drivers who pass stop signs
- Drivers who run red lights
- Drivers who are distracted
- Drivers who switch lanes recklessly
- Drivers who tailgate/follow too closely
When motorists operate their vehicles in a reckless manner, it can have devastating consequences for everyone else nearby. In many cases, these acts of negligence contribute to accidents that leave victims severely harmed. It is all too common to see victims left with severe injuries that require medical care, such as:
- Internal organ injuries
- Spinal cord injuries
- Traumatic brain injuries
- Broken bones/severe compound fractures
- Severe cuts and lacerations
- Severe burn injuries
Any time of injury can have a devastating impact on the victim’s life. Many injured parties have to go through extensive medical treatment and spend several weeks out of work to recover. The overwhelming consequences of an accident can be incredibly difficult for victims and families to endure.
