Car Accidents in California

Los Angeles, CA – E Olympic Blvd & Maple Ave Crash Ends in InjuriesEvery day, innocent people are forced to deal with the overwhelming impacts of motor vehicle accidents in California. In fact, more than 550 people are left injured every single day due to traffic incidents. In many cases, victims are harmed as a result of collisions that are caused by reckless and negligent drivers. Some of the leading factors in car crashes include:

  • Passing stop signs at intersections: when approaching intersections, it is critically important that drivers always stop for stop signs. Unfortunately, there are many instances where drivers fail to stop at stop signs and crash into other vehicles that do have the right of way.
  • Driving while under the influence of drugs or alcohol: when drivers are under the influence of drugs or alcohol, they often have problems making responsible decisions. As a result, we see many people crash into other vehicles while under the influence.
  • Driving while fatigued or too tired to stay awake: when drivers are too tired to operate their vehicle, they risk falling asleep behind the wheel and crashing into others. Unfortunately, fatigued driving can be just as bad as impaired driving.
  • Speeding: when drivers are traveling too fast, they are at an increased risk of losing control of their vehicle and crashing into others. Unfortunately, traveling around curve roadways and in inclement weather conditions increases the risk of bad accidents happening involving speeding drivers.
