Los Angeles, CA (March 11, 2023) – On March 10, the Los Angeles Police Department was notified that their assistance was needed at the scene of a car crash that occurred on the south side of the city during the evening hours.

Just after 4:20 p.m., vehicles collided on South Vermont Avenue.

LAPD officers and area firefighters responded to the scene and closed off a portion of the roadway near West Century Boulevard. Emergency crews went to work quickly on removing the damaged vehicles and debris from the road.

At least one person suffered injuries that required further medical care. Medics rendered aid to the victims on site and transported them to area hospitals.

The circumstances surrounding the accident remain under investigation.
