Los Angeles, CA (March 11, 2023) – The California Highway Patrol has confirmed that 23-year-old Timothy Billberry has died as a result of an automobile accident that took place on Wednesday morning, March 8.
At around 2:00 a.m., several vehicles were involved in the collision on the westbound side of the Santa Monica Highway. Multiple first responders were called to the scene to provide assistance.
Authorities immediately blocked off the roadway near Crenshaw Boulevard. One vehicle involved in the accident caught on fire.
The person inside the vehicle, identified as Billberry, suffered fatal injuries. He was pronounced deceased at the scene.
Injured victims were provided treatment and transported to local hospitals.
The events leading up to the fatal accident are being investigated.
