Van Nuys, CA (March 14, 2023) – Injuries were reported as a result of an automobile accident that took place in the Van Nuys area early Monday afternoon.
Just before 1:00 p.m. on March 13, the Los Angeles Police Department and County firefighters were called to a crash that occurred on Vanowen Street.
Crash reports indicate that a gray van and a white sedan collided on Vanowen Street. The two vehicles came to rest in the middle of the road near Sepulveda Boulevard. Firefighters immediately responded and closed off the roadway to prevent further damage to the involved vehicle.
At least one person was injured as a result of the accident. Firefighters removed a woman from her vehicle and rendered her aid at the scene. Injured parties were then transported to local hospitals for further medical care.
At this time, investigations into the cause of the crash are underway.
