Cheryl A. Kenner, Esq.
Senior Attorney

Cheryl A. Kenner, Esq. is a Senior Attorney with more than 11 years of experience representing California workers in employment class actions and single-plaintiff matters. Her practice focuses on wage and hour claims and worker misclassification, and she brings the same rigor to every case regardless of size.
Cheryl’s approach is deliberate rather than combative: pick your battles, fight fair, and never lose sight of reason. “Winning is everything only if you played by the rules,” she says.
Over the course of her career, Cheryl has certified several classes and secured meaningful recoveries for classes of employees and consumers across a broad range of industries. The class settlements Cheryl has obtained have not only compensated employees but also led employers to change their practices. Cheryl also obtained class certification and several class settlements on behalf of thousands of university students across California when their schools did not offer tuition reductions after transitioning in-person classes to remote instruction during COVID-19. She measures success by both outcomes — the just compensation her clients receive and the lasting improvements a case produces in the workplace.
Cheryl treats every matter, favorable or not, as an opportunity to refine her craft. “Evolution and refinement come from the wisdom you retain from every experience, whether good or bad,” she says. “So reflect, remember, and repeat.”
Cheryl is an active member of the California Employment Lawyers Association (CELA) and the Consumer Attorneys Association of Los Angeles (CAALA).
Outside the office, Cheryl enjoys playing tennis and working out, traveling with her fiancé and Pomeranian, tending to a large, exotic collection of houseplants, and keeping current on the Bravo lineup.
