Giancarlo A. Recinos, Esq. is a Senior Attorney specializing in employment law, bringing more than 14 years of experience to every case he handles. He began his career as a general civil litigator and has since built extensive experience as counsel — work that taught him to pay close attention to the people behind every legal situation. Today, he focuses his practice on wage-and-hour class actions, where that same attention to people still matters most.
One of Giancarlo’s proudest legal achievements came when he represented a restaurant worker who came to him after enduring not only wage-and-hour violations but also mistreatment because of his sexual orientation. The client arrived feeling broken and hopeless. Giancarlo told him honestly that the road ahead would be difficult, but worthwhile. That promise was tested more than once as the client had to relive painful memories. There were moments he was ready to walk away and accept far less than he deserved, but Giancarlo stayed beside him through it, and together they secured a significant recovery. What Giancarlo remembers most is what it did for the client as a person: it helped him heal and move forward in his career.
Giancarlo believes some of the most valuable work a lawyer does happens before anyone files anything — helping a client see their situation clearly and decide what’s worth pursuing. Whether he’s advising a company on a decision or standing beside an employee during one of the worst stretches of their career, the work is the same: steady guidance when it’s needed most.
Outside of work, Giancarlo enjoys reading, art, and music, along with traveling the world and spending time with family, friends, and his dog.

Guiding Philosophy
“Good lawyering is mostly good listening. You can’t guide someone until you understand what they actually need.”
