Valen M. Hermiz, Esq., brings eight years of dedicated legal experience to Wilshire Law Firm, specializing in Employment Law and Personal Injury. Valen holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Davis, a Paralegal Certificate from the University of San Diego, and a Juris Doctorate from Thomas Jefferson School of Law. 

Valen’s career is marked by an unwavering commitment to justice, with achievements that include successful outcomes in numerous summary adjudications, demurrers, and motions to strike. Over the years, Valen has settled millions of dollars’ worth of cases and conducted over 750 depositions, demonstrating a deep expertise in litigation and client advocacy. 

An active member of the legal community, Valen maintains professional affiliations with the Claims and Litigation Management Alliance (CLM) and other industry organizations. Valen’s professional philosophy centers on persistence and growth, stating, “I never lose. I either win or I learn.” 

Inspired to become an attorney by a desire to amplify the voices of the unheard, Valen works tirelessly to ensure fairness and justice prevail for clients. Outside the courtroom, Valen supports charitable initiatives and advocates for Middle Eastern refugees, while also participating in efforts to combat homelessness in San Diego. This includes organizing and attending homeless panels and events in collaboration with city council. 

Valen’s personal interests include learning new languages—speaking Chaldean and beginning Spanish—and connecting with the community through pro bono work. Valen’s dedication to service and impactful representation sets the foundation for helping clients achieve meaningful results.
