With over 15 years of experience, Julie Lu, Esq., is a Senior Attorney specializing in Personal Injury and Employment Law. Her expertise in Personal Injury encompasses motor vehicle accidents, traumatic brain injuries, wrongful death, premise and product liability, dog bite cases, assault and battery, and catastrophic injuries. In the realm of Employment Law, she represents employees and defends employers in wage and hour, PAGA, discrimination, retaliation, and wrongful termination cases. 

Julie is an alumna of Syracuse University College of Law, where she served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce and was a member of the Moot Court Honors Society. She also holds a degree from the University of California, San Diego, where she graduated with Provost Honors

Active in the legal community, Julie is a member of the Southern California Chinese Lawyers Association, Orange County Asian American Bar Association, and Orange County Trial Lawyers Association. 

Her notable achievements include securing significant settlements throughout her career, such as $1 million for a traumatic brain injury case, $1 million for a trivial defect matter, and $1 million for an auto v. auto case that required spine surgery.  She has also secured countless policy limit settlements for her clients. 

Julie’s professional philosophy revolves around building public trust and giving back to the community. Her inspiration to become an attorney stemmed from a high school trip to Washington, D.C., where she witnessed oral arguments before the U.S. Supreme Court. A sentiment that guides Julie’s approach to legal representation are in the words of John Wooden: 

“Failing to prepare is preparing to fail.” 

Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, hiking, cooking, and cherishing time with her family. Julie is actively involved in volunteering efforts with organizations like the Midnight Mission, Union Station Homeless Services, Legal Aid Foundation, and OC Food Bank, further emphasizing her commitment to community service.
